On the back of unprecedented attention and awareness, the Australian cyber security industry is calling on the venture capital and corporate sector to get fully behind it as it prepares to lift off.

There has been increasing government focus at a federal level following the launch of the Cyber Security Strategy in 2016 and a series of high-profile cyber attacks over the past year, leading to a growing sense that it is time for emerging local cyber security start-ups to hit their straps.
