Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoter is: ResponSight Pty Ltd (ACN 604 637 578) whose registered office is at Level 19, 2 Southbank Blvd, Southbank AUSTRALIA 3006.
  2. The competition is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over except employees of ResponSight and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation (including partners and investors) or judging of the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions, and agrees to be contacted by ResponSight for future promotions.
  5. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via the ResponSight booth at the 2018 AISA Conference, to be held at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre from Tuesday 9 October 2018 to Thursday 12 October 2018.
  6. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
  7. Entries close Thursday 12 October at 1.00pm. After this date and time no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  9. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
    1. The entry form is to be filled in by the person wishing to enter the competition, and the following questions answered – “How would you communicate risk better to your organisation’s Board?” and “What’s wrong with the security industry, and how would you fix it?”
    2. The entry form must be attached to the person’s business card and/or their name, email address, company name and contact number be written on the competition form.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control.   13. The prizes are as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  14. The competition is a game of skill and requires entrants to answer 2 questions on the entry form in their own words.  A ResponSight employee will choose the best entry based on relevance to the conference theme, the prize to be won and the entrant’s creativity.
  15. The competition will be drawn at 2.00pm on Thursday 12 October at the ResponSight booth at the 2018 AISA Conference, Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre.
  16. The winner will be notified by email and SMS within 28 days of the closing date. If the winners cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prizes from the winners and pick a replacement winner.
  17. The promoter will notify the winners when and where the prize can be collected or delivered.
  18. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  19. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  20. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
  21. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
